Awesome Design
Awesome Awnings are a permanent weather protection system designed and manufactured to enhance our Kiwi lifestyle. Whether covering your deck, patio, concrete or paved area, or providing shelter for the car or boat, your Awesome Awning is custom designed to fit your needs. Awesome Awnings designs offer you the best protection from rain, sun, wind, sleet and snow. We offer both traditional straight and contemporary curved roof frames to provide you with a design that is functional and funky. All designs adhere to New Zealand Building Regulation requirements.
Awesome Awnings unique designs now offer drop-down sides or curtains to transform your deck, veranda or patio. Awnings can be custom fitted with clear or mesh sides or curtains. This allows you to adjust them according to the weather, allowing you to enjoy your awning at any time. The drop-down sides come in numerous colours and styles and are specifically designed to suit your needs.
N.B. Building Consents are required on the following size structures as per Schedule One of the New Zealand Building Code.
- Any structure attached to an existing building exceeding 20m²
- Any freestanding structure that exceeds 10m²
- Carports either freestanding or attached not exceeding 20m²
Awesome Durability
Awesome Awnings are specifically designed to cope with tough New Zealand conditions. Be it rain, sun or wind, your Awesome Awning has got you covered. All Awesome Awnings fittings are ‘Hot Dipped’ galvanized prior to the powder coating process. The product has also been independently tested in a salt chamber environment and authorised by a corrosion expert.
Our awnings require regular maintenance. All you need is good old fashioned soap and water to keep your Awesome Awning looking great!
